Results of URC2024.
– The important agreement on continued cooperation with the IFC – International Finance Corporation was signed by Alfonso García Mora, Vice President of IFC in Europe, Latin America, and the Caribbean. So now UDP is at the finish line on the way to investments in fleet modernization.
– We were ensured that our IFC partners were satisfied with the corporate governance reform process. It remains for us to complete the formation of the UDP supervisory board and, based on the results of an independent audit, to prepare consolidated financial statements of the Company group under the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
– We reported on the progress of the pilot modernization project of the first batch of vessels, which is taking place right now at the Öswag Werft Linz.
– Discussed with international partners their vision of the company’s development. According to colleagues, the UDP should eventually move into the private sector of the economy. This vision coincides with the course of the Ukrainian government towards privatization of SOEs.
– We presented the project for the creation of the Kiliya industrial park based on the UDP’s Shipyard. The project has aroused a great interest, we are now providing the details of our offer for continuing consultations with international donors.
– Many meaningful meetings were held with representatives of international donors. We felt great support. The world is ready to increase financial aid for Ukraine. It gives strength and energy to continue work.
