The modernization of UDP’s fleet continues at ÖSWAG.
The preparatory works have been successfully completed.
A new exhaust gas neutralization system with AdBlue additive has been installed in the engine room.
The exhaust system complies with the latest European ES-TRIN standard. The UDP fleet will become the most environmentally friendly on the Danube.
There is enough space in the engine room to place the efficient and large system. The ÖSWAG project provides for everything.
New diesel generators are in place, and the installation of two main engines is underway.
There is still a lot of work to be done. A team of local specialists is constantly working on the vessel. Our Ukrainian specialists help, learn and share their experience. They are delighted to see how the vessel they have worked on for many years is changing.
ÖSWAG’s management keeps the project in focus. The Austrian partners attach great importance to it and are interested in ensuring the best possible outcome.
