UDP invests in the set of occupational safety measures in order to bring the corporate standards into conformity not only with the Ukrainian requirements, but also with the international requirements.

The company’s occupational safety service is constantly performing integrated occupational safety measures developed in order to prevent occupational injuries and increase the existing level of occupational safety in PJSC “UDP”. The plan of integrated measures includes the following:

• elimination of the influence of the dangerous and harmful production factors on the employees or bringing their level in the workplace in conformity with the requirements of the occupational safety regulations;
• performing workplace attestation;
• performing occupational safety training and knowledge testing;
• providing the employees with special clothing, footwear or personal protective equipment in accordance with the law or the collective agreement;
• providing therapeutic and dietary food, milk or equivalent food for the employees engaged in works with difficult and harmful working conditions;
• performing medical examinations of the employees engaged in heavy works, works with harmful or dangerous working conditions or works requiring professional selection.

The occupational safety service has initiated a certification in accordance with DSTU ISO 45001:2019 Healthcare and occupational safety management systems. Application requirements and guidelines.

Ensuring proper occupational safety level in PJSC “UDP” is funded by the employer. Occupational safety costs are recorded within the integrated occupational safety measures developed with the participation of occupational safety specialists.
