International companies are considering the possibility of organizing production at the UDP plant!

The third SLG barge has already been launched. Our factory has fully developed the conversion technology. We are ready to build up to 10 barges per year with the possibility of increasing volumes by 20%. However, currently the UDP is provided with a non-self-propelled fleet.

It is equally important that our plant is being modernized and mastering new technologies.

New modern equipment for welding and painting was recently installed. The quality and pace of work have increased significantly. Our specialists are delighted with the result.

Instead of several old and inconvenient ones, a new composition of metal was organized, which greatly simplified and accelerated production processes.

As we promised, we are improving living conditions for employees. A major reconstruction of the showers, which had probably not been repaired since Soviet times, began.

Last year, we performed a very large amount of repairs and are completing the formation of a self-propelled fleet reserve for transportation of up to 200,000 tons of cargo per month. Therefore, we finally have the opportunity to accept also the fleet of other enterprises and companies. There is an order, the plant is equipped with work.

So everyone’s mood is positive.

There are also important developments regarding long-term perspectives. Well-known manufacturers from other countries are interested in our production site. Consultations are ongoing.

In fact, we have everything necessary for the location of any production – infrastructure, communications, space, workers, and most importantly – convenient logistics, which allows us to import equipment/components by sea and export finished products to EU countries by river.

To attract investors, we must complete the process of registering property and land plots; dispose of production waste that has been accumulating for decades (we are planning the first auctions for the sale of scrap metal, of which we have a lot and a lot).

With each trip to the factory, I am pleased to notice how the situation in production is changing for the better. Keep it up!
