The process of replacing engines on the vessels of the Danube Shipping Company has started!

In the Austrian Linz, together with ÖSWAG technical manager Harald Bhöm, the UDP delegation inspected the works on the modernization of the steamship “Captain Antipov”.

ÖSWAG notes that UDP will receive the most ecological and the most modern fleet on the Danube. Mitsubishi engines purchased for steamships are specially modified and fully meet the requirements of the European ES-TRIN/StageV.

Other major Danube shipping companies have modernized earlier, without taking into account the new European standards for river transport.
