About UDP

Ukrainian Danube Shipping Company (PJSC “UDP”)  is a shipping company performing transportation of goods and passengers by sea and river river transport, with 100% shares owned by the state represented by the Ministry for Community and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine.

The main activities of the company include cargo transportation by river transport along the Danube and sea transportation in the Black Sea and Mediterranean area, as well as shipbuilding and ship repair at the  Kilia Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Factory.

From 2022 the company is developing a new area of activity, namely its own stevedoring   complex in Kilia.

The objective of the company’s activity is to provide transport services to legal entities and individuals with guaranteed quality and cargo integrity, including development of logistics schemes for delivery of cargoes to Ukraine.

Currently, 24 self-propelled vessels and 204 non-self-propelled vessels are operated by the company.

The sea fleet of the PJSC UDP includes 6 dry cargo vessels with a deadweight of 3700 tons.

The bulk of the company’s cargoes  consists of export of grain from Ukrainian ports on the Danube to Constanta and transportation of iron ore raw materials from Ukrainian ports to Serbia and transportation of grain in the opposite direction to Constanta.
